Born in Beirut, Lynn Kodeih has resided in Tiohtià:ke | Mooniyang | Montreal since 2020. Her work is invested in the politics of the image, and addresses notions of space, borders, wandering and belonging in a colonial and post-colonial world. Her practice is at the crossroads of textuality and auto-theory, video and installation. 

Her formal and plastic experiments create processes favoring erasure and dismantlement, and touch as much on the different substrates of the image (silver and digital), as on materiality and accident. Kodeih holds a BA in Literary Studies, a DES and MFA in Theatre and Performance (Lebanese University and Saint Joseph University, Beirut-Lebanon). 

Her work has been presented in international group exhibitions, including Kunstbanken Performance Festival (Norway), Rotterdam Film Festival (Netherlands), Transart Triennial (Berlin), Homeworks - Ashkal Alwan, Beirut Art Center and Beirut Art Fair (Lebanon), and La Galerie de l’UQAM (Canada).

Lynn Kodeih est née à Beyrouth, et réside à Tiohtià:ke/Mooniyang/Montréal depuis 2020. Son travail s’investit dans les politiques de l’image, et s'intéresse aux notions d'espace, de frontières, d'errance et d'appartenance dans un monde colonial et post-colonial. Sa pratique est à la croisée de la textualité et l’auto-theorie, la vidéo et l’installation. 

Ses expérimentations formelles et plastiques créent des processus favorisant l'effacement, et touchent autant aux différents supports de l’image (argentiques et numériques) qu’à la matérialité et l’accident. Kodeih est titulaire d'une licence en études littéraires, d’un DES et d’une maîtrise en théâtre et en performance (Beyrouth, Liban), et d’une maîtrise en arts visuels et médiatiques à l'Uqam (Montréal, Canada). 

Son travail a été présenté dans le cadre de plusieurs expositions collectives à l’international, en l’occurrence à Kunstbanken Performance Festival (Norvège), Rotterdam Film Festival (Pays-Bas), Transart Triennial (Berlin), Homeworks - Ashkal Alwan, Beirut Art Center et Beirut Art Fair (Liban), La Galerie de l’UQAM (Canada).
